Good School report

We had a parents conference last week, at which Lianne's teacher was able to tell us about the progress she's made this term. She told us that she's reading at a level expected of 9 year olds !! We had noticed that she'd made the transition to 'proper' reading, using her voice to express the different intonations intended, but were surprised to hear how well she was doing for her age-group. Her spelling does however need quite a bit of work. Her teacher also mentioned that her fitness level has really improved, and that she enjoys running and gymnastics. She has settled in well and has become a well liked class member with her confidence having increased overall. Needless to say, she came away feeling very proud.
